It started the way most good ideas do at McCombs: over dinner at Austin Intensive, with the question "Can we hangout more?"
Four classmates and their community in Houston's Working Professionals MBA program decided the answer deserved more. They envisioned something bigger: a community built around the table, where every cohort and every concentration is welcome, and where the best networking feels like dinner with friends — because it is.
The McCombs Culinary Collective was chartered on January 5, 2026, with a mission to explore Houston's world-class food scene together. Pull up a chair and let's eat.

We build deeper relationships across cohorts and concentrations, develop cultural awareness through culinary experiences, and create the kind of informal networking that actually leads somewhere.
